WINX in GIMP |
Comment: This was my first time using GIMP and after the first glance I've to say it has all the basic tools Corel Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop has, so even if a tutorial is written for a different software, you can reproduce the final piece in this software. You just gotta get used to the layout and know the basics, like how to select or move something, where to find the layers options and so on an so on. Just experiment around with it and you'll find this free software very handy and great. Software used: GIMP Time needed: roughly 10 minutes Needed knowledge: Blend modes (it's named layer mode here), how to move objects, how to create text, layers, selection tool Final piece: Steps
