Hey, they are looking super @skouliki! 
Just pay attention to color contrast and combination for better "readability" on your first test button. The orange is a bit hard to differentiate from the gray of your choice! Nonetheless, great job!
I have never used Pixlr before, but it seems to be a cool alternative.

yes its free a similar maybe not have so may options but works fine for the moment

Just going through some of the tutorials. I love the design for this one! However, I do not have Paint Shop pro but there are other alternatives that have the tools that you have listed. Cant wait to give it a try!
