Mascot Contest

Mascot Contest Hey there! The purpose of our second contest is to find the mascot of Graphic Balloon! The winning entry will be the mascot of the Graphic Balloon forum and will be used in the future everywhere! Rules: - Full-body entries are accepted only. - No copyrighted characters are allowed. - The colors used should fairly match the forum.  - Both digital and hand drawn entries are accepted. - The character should be friendly looking. - The character can be based on existing animals and they can be fantasy characters too. - You can enter with as many submissions as you wish. Time: March 4ᵗʰ - April 24ᵗʰ The mascot will be chosen by you, the forumers. A new poll will be set up with the entries and everyone will be able to vote to their favourites. The one with the most votes will be the winner.   By posting a design you let us use, re-draw, re-design the character on the forum without any further claims.   Post your entries in this topic. Good luck!  Contest Prize: 5,000 Forum Points + A medal of the winning mascot + Your name displayed on the bottom right corner of the footer.

So, I have been thinking.

How about a giraffe?  



"Aim for the sky!" could be the motto of the forum. Giraffes have long neck... they are closer to the sky?

I added an aviator hat on it too to emphasize we are on a Graphic Balloon's board and this little mascot would represent the forum along with the balloon logo.

Thank you.
I just draw it in Inkscape. It's not a complicated drawing, there was no need for sketching.
I added a medal, but due to the small size our logo is not really noticable.

They are all so adorable.
It would be hard to 'beat' this (if it can be beaten).

Did you use a stylus to create this, or is it all done by mouse?
