Introduction

I founded Degero Gaming September 1st of 2014. I wanted to open up a gaming community because I wanted a place where he could show my passion for gaming with the world, and I wanted others to do the same. Degero Gaming is a gaming community devoted to sharing our experience, resources, and information to help other gamers. We want a place where gamers can have fun and have Degero Gaming be their second family. We are also a place to get the latest gaming news, reviews and to get support. Our services will remain free and always stay free, we do not charge members for extra features. Although Degero Gaming is focused on gaming, members are able to post all kinds of stuff on, even if it's not gaming related. We allow members to post about other topics such as; places they've travelled to, debate, share their creations and much more!

Working with the Community

As Degero Gaming grows, we are constantly on the lookout for partners! We try to partner with startup Developers & YouTubers to help them reach their full potential. The partnerships work in a way where both sides are benefited. We even support non-partners which may include our very own members if it's from giving them a shout out on Twitter & Facebook to advertising them in some of our banners, we will help them out. We currently have two partners which we are very grateful to have them working with us. One of our partners has successfully reached 100 subscribers on YouTube, which I believe is an incredible goal to reach!

Future Plans

Eventually, we are planning on having our own live stream & more content on our YouTube channel. We are planning to start a series called "Let's play" which is very popular amongst YouTube Gamers. Soon members will also be able to stream their gameplay on our site, members who are approved will be allowed to stream. But, besides that, it's mostly secret  

We currently advertise on Twitter, Facebook and other sites. But we have never posted a post such as this one. We are hoping to get positive and constructive feedback.

The Crew

We currently have 3 other staff members, Eric, Graham & Weston. They all have their responsibilities which help benefit our growing community.

Graham

- is our Community Manager, he's responsible for creating a fun environment on Degero Gaming while keeping our members safe.

Weston

- is our Senior Forum Moderator, his responsibilities are to monitor and maintain the forums ensuring that all members are obeying the rules.

Eric

- is our Head Journalist, he writes game reviews & news for the site.

Charity

At the end of every year, Degero Gaming will donate 2% of our remaining funds to a charity called Child's Play. Child Play helps to improve the lives of children with toys and games in their network of over 100 hospitals worldwide. They have raised millions of dollars to something that matters and we believe that's important.
