Layers - Objects We could say in Inkscape all the objects are on a different 'layer'. You can move everything freely above and below each other. Of course other than this individual selection, you can find the normal 'Layer' option too, which you can lock, unlock, hide, see. About Objects - Object/ Raise (shortcut: Page up) - puts the selected object above another object - Object/ Lower (shortcut: Page down) - puts the selected object below another object - Object/ Raise to Top (shortcut: Home) - puts the selected object above all the objects - Object/ Lower to Bottom (shortcut: End) - puts the selected object below all the objects Tip: Learn the shortcuts, you can work a lot faster if you know them.
