Selection Tool
Selection tool (Basics)

Let's get familiar with the Selection Tool.
The introduction will happen through Corel Paint Shop Pro, however, these tools and settings are implemented in all of the programs, so what you learn here, can use in others too. Smile

First of all, add the Selection Tool.
View/ Toolbars/ Tools

psp - Selection Tool - Basics Toolbartools


View/ Palettes/ Tool Options

Now you can see it.

The main options you have to be familiar with: 


  • Selection (S)
  • Freehand selection
  • Magic Wand



All of these options have common features.
