Software used: Corel Paint Shop Pro x8 psp - 3d Button Creation Pspicon

Required knowledge:

  • Fill Tool
  • Gradients
  • Shape Tool
  • Layers
  • Selection Tool
  • Converting Layers
  • Brightness/ Contrast Settings
  • Text Tool 
  • Halftone Effect




Time needed: roughly 6 minutes

The image we are going to create:

in photoshop 2 i dont have the effects ...at all.. maybe there are somewhere else
and i cant do number 7

Or you can add a new layer a diagonal texture with edited blend mode and opacity. Smile


As for the 7th step, in Paint Shop Pro you have to convert the layer to be able to use the Pick Tool's modes (scale, pespective, shear etc.) I don't know if it is neccessary for you in PS.

i need to ask all the tutorials you put if we follow the steps we will make same buttons can we use this design for FM or for our own purpose ? or is under your licence?

As far as I know you can resize/shear the layer without transforming it. Just select your layer and press ctrl+T, take a corner while holding ctrl+shift (or 'edit > transform > skew').
